pickThis is a clever cat-and-mouse about a kidnapper and a therapist. Very smartly written with three narrators: the therapist, the kidnapped woman, and a character from the therapist‘s past. Couldn‘t put it down.
pickI don‘t believe I‘ve ever read her before, but the blurb of this book when I cataloged it struck something in me, and I had to read it. It definitely delivered! A great mind fxk book with humorous writing intertwined!
pickI loved this book full of unlikeable characters & unreliable narrators. Dr. Caroline treats a new patient who leaves halfway through their first session after professing he‘s going to commit a murder. Before he parts, he tells her he knows who she really is. Thus begins this twisty novel told from 3 POVs: Dr. Caroline & 2 other people connected to her. I fear to say much more as I loved going into this novel blind & trying to figure out the truth.
pickThis is a provocative preview and I really, really want to read the rest of this book. Already, I‘m not sure who to trust and I love that. I have loved previous Louisa Luna novels and this one has really grabbed me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
