Finally using the kindle stand while I soak off my nails.
Finally using the kindle stand while I soak off my nails.
Besides the plot being all over the place, this one was pretty good. The first half was eh, but then it picked up for the second half. Spice level 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
My November #doublespin ! I was pretty bored with this bored.. a lot of fluff that I didn‘t understand the point of it 🤷🏻♀️.. the twist was the best part, but was just ok.. I think a so-do‘s probably being nice.
This book ripped my heart out and I loved it. I‘m a whiskey girl. I love the comparison of whiskey addiction to love addiction. Yes, the characters and the relationship are frustrating, but what writing, wow. ❤️🔥
On to the next! I‘m in a romance mood, apparently 😝!
I read this is hardly no time at all. Loved it!
✨ obsessed ✨ with this limited edition 🤩🤩🤩
Ok.. I shockingly flew through this book! No character development, but fun characters. It was funny and easy to read. I‘ll read the rest of them! 😙
I‘m jumping on this bandwagon.. I hope it‘s enjoyable 🤞🏻 😝😆 !
I really like the Hitchcock theme and references in this one, but the characters were rather unlikeable. I always enjoy her writing though!
October wrap up! 👻 All good books, but Sleep Tight definitely won the month!
I‘m so excited to have both Adeline‘s now, and to start the Never After‘s!! And, of course, We used to live here looks amazingly spooky! Thank you so so much @Pigpen_Reads 🐦⬛🧡❤️🔥! I‘ve been awake for forever already, so I‘m currently already using my new mug! Thank you @wanderinglynn for hosting! 💛 #hhs #hauntedhollowswap
Bought a dark romance blind date with a book on TikTok and ended up with this greatness 🤩!
I love an Amanda Lovelace pub day! Always preordered, always opened right away. 💖
Definitely not an easy or light read like I‘m used to. She‘s an amazing writer, and I enjoyed every minute of this one!
Great characters in this one! It really drops off at the end so you HAVE to read book two asap. Definitely made me question the books that I‘m reading once again 🤣!
Best book I‘ve read recently! I‘m not usually a big police procedural reader, but this book was phenomenal. Out of the box for me at times too, but so non-stop spooky-thriller, that I just loved it. He also plays with a mental health diagnosis that I really enjoy reading about, so that sold the deal for me.
I‘ve been listening to this one on the MP3 player while doing a million thing at home today. 🏒
A few more LFL stops today. 📚
I plan on visiting some LFL‘s in the next couple of days. This was the first one yesterday. Too full to pull any in, and all children‘s book, so I didn‘t take any.
Every once in awhile, I can read a good “detective” novel. Dr. Wren Muller‘s are good- but holy drop off for the ending! 😱 #3 will have to be coming!
This is my second book of H.D. Carlton‘s, and this woman‘s brain is messed up 😅, which makes her books great! I can see why Haunting Adeline is so huge after reading this prequel.
I thought that I finally scored at the LFL at my grocery store, but, it‘s book three 😭😩😭😂!
Parts of this one irritated me and one or two parts might have scarred me. Can‘t wait for the next one!! ✨
Love Freida ! Quick & witty read with a big twist.
Basically the cliff notes of the whole Menendez story. I think it took me 10 minutes to read; so if you‘re interested but don‘t have a lot of time, this one covers all of the bases of it quickly. #readyourkindle
@JessieKB this is all so amazing! I‘m in love with the sprayed edges on Beautiful Villain 🤩- can‘t wait to read all of them and drink my coffee! Thank you!! 💛🧡 #fffs #fallingforfallswap
A different take for the thriller genre, and a good, emotional, fast read. A good intro to the start of my spooky reads, since the POV‘s are from the ghosts of murdered girls.
It took me a bit to get into this one, but the twists were good, as usual, for her. The ending may have been a bit rushed, but it‘s not the longest book either.
My October #bookspin ☠ ! #doublespin #bookspinbingo
Fall kinderella edit 🍂 🍁🤓
I can read about A LOT, but my feminist side was literally cringing during certain parts of this one. Putting that aside and remembering it is fiction, I loved it. Awesome power couple, dark and super twisty towards the end. The story outside of all of the trigger warning and kinks was phenomenal!
Earlier this year I was promoted to cataloger in my library. For the past 3 years or so, I‘ve been helping to start a psychological thriller collection at one of our branches, and now we finally have stickers for them! (No one makes specific psychological thriller stickers, and the ‘thriller‘ options we‘re all blah.. so these were the choice)! To say I‘m nerdy excited is an understatement. 🤩
Hoping to finish this big boy between tonight and tomorrow morning.
My Halloween aesthetic 💀 for the #hauntedhollowswap ! This is always a fun collage to make 😆, as Halloween and fall are just my absolute favorite times of the year! These are my main guys tagged and pictured . I‘m always big on decorating, makeup, nails, games.. anything really! Glad the pink and neon decorations have become big! I‘m obsessed with the skulls/flowers/books aesthetic anymore as well.
This book was a bit of everything : dark romance, triggers, fall/halloween vibes, heart-wrenching, suspenseful, etc! Picked it up in a whim from the authors blurb about it on TikTok, immediately opened it, and do not regret it! Book 2 is coming Friday!
*When they change the title and the cover after the book‘s published..* (Same book 😏).
I‘m in the minority with the other fans of my genre with this one. It was too slow of a go for me. I almost didn‘t want to finish it, but I knew it would be worth it at some point. Well that point was all the way at the end. Good twists, and what I thought was a huge hole in the story came out too, so 😮💨!
Another one that I absolutely loved and now have to wait until April for the next one 😩! OCD is real in this one. Great characters (good and evil), and a few jaw-droppers thrown in.
