Collected from Web Toon, this volume is a collection of stories about the floating skull of Oscar Zahn as he carries out his paranormal investigations. I really like monster of the week stories & the first half of the book scratched that itch, the second half of the volume delved into Zahn's background & was a bit unsatisfying. As this was a library book, overall can't really complain! A pick,

I was bored by nine tenths of this hot mess of a graphic novel. But would absolutely be here for an entire book of just Nora Grey's Victorian crypto-academic research hijinks.

I won this graphic novel adaptation of a comic first published on Webtoons on Goodreads—getting a finished copy was a nice surprise. I loved the moody, atmospheric art in this story about a paranormal investigator, seen as a skull floating above a suit, & the entities he chases from the battlefields of WWI to the depths of the oceans. An engaging mix of horror, mystery, & adventure which leaves you wanting to know more about Oscar & this world.
