Interesting enough, I guess, but it frustrated me with how many quotes Montaigne used... it felt more like a collection of quotes than a series of essays! The quotes were all printed in their original language with a translation underneath which was helpful but annoying for me at least.

This was an entertaining read - a few random essays about human emotions. For a lot of his ideas he adds examples, short stories that happend to one person or the other, which made his remarks much more easy going and fun to read! 3/5⭐️
