Slowly making my way through this book, a few stories here and there.

Some great analysis here on white silence and how it maintains white supremacy.
Just started this lovely book, night shifts have got my sleeping pattern all over the place and I really want to keep reading but too zzz
Enchanting and lovely book, lovely to read more of the Owens family in this prequel. Might have to re-read Practical Magic now.
Loved this book, told from such an interesting perspective.
Just quickly, I think everyone should read this book.
After completely re-shelving my TBR bookcase, I found this book which I have been wanting to read for about a decade so I hope it‘s good.
What a delightful book. Such Interesting and lively characters. Definite pick.
Absolute gem of a book. Such interesting and fascinating tour through history, I love armchair archaeology reads.
So many people just do not understand this. I kept my name after marriage for the simple reason that it is my name, that I like my name. I had one relative nearly fall off her chair in surprise because I did not take my husbands name. I had friends that started addressing me by my husbands name, and were so confused when I challenged them to look at the reasons they had assumed I would just take his name.
It‘s raining and so cold so it‘s a staying in bed and reading kind of day.
Love Neil Gaiman 👏 an afternoon free to start this.
Absolutely fantastic story. Kept me in suspense the whole time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Quite enjoyed this book even though it‘s a very different genre to ones I usually like. The characters were well written and the action scenes seemed well paced.
Bailed. Just didn‘t hold my interest for such a large book.
I loved this story as a movie 🍿 I‘m hoping this book is good as well 🤞
Interesting story, takes upon tales interwoven throughout. It reminded me a lot of Jen Campbell‘s short story collection. 4⭐️ #holidaybooktwo
I was lucky enough to listen to a talk by this author, Shokoofeh Azar, about the story behind how she wrote this book. There were a few passages that were read from the book that made me want to go read it straight away, so bought it that same day. #magicalrealism
A fantastic collection of two short stories. Always enjoy reading H.G. Wells. I‘m on a small holiday for a couple of days and trying to get through some books I‘ve been wanting to read for ages. #bookoneonholidays
Took me so long to finish 🤦♀️ really interesting in parts, really long-winded in other parts. Overall a 2.5 ⭐️
I almost gave this book up at the beginning as it didn‘t quite grab me but I‘m glad I stuck with it as it turned out to be a great book. I thought some of the characters dialogue seemed a bit unbelievable, however the stunning prose through most of the book more than made up for this. #tbrbingo
This is the last book I have to read for this semester 👏👏👏👏
A fantastic book. The jaunty-English voice took awhile to get used to, but a suburb story throughout.
And I just realised I put the title of this book in wrong 🤦♀️ oh well, a new TBR bingo card for me. I loved this idea last year and then completely forgot to finish it 🤷♀️. I‘m on a mission to get my TBR pile down from two and a half shelves to just one, so I can start buying books guilt free again. #weshallsee #tbrbingo
Really interesting read, as I was reading it I had to keep reminding my self that this was published in 1949 and to try and imagine how groundbreaking this would have been. #feministbookshelfcollection
Have been waiting to read this gorgeous book 📚 on loan from the library. Just looking at the cover is making so hungry. #slowlygoingvegetarian
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Love the main character. The action was well paced throughout.
Quite a self indulgent novel, interesting in a few sections, but it is hard to like a novel where the central character is a compulsive liar.
Ready for some laughs, customers can be so funny.
Meh. Nothing happens in this story. I‘m a fan of the other books in this series but this novella was awful.
Enjoyable Sherlock story, a quick read and a satisfying mystery. #penguinenglishlibrary
Current reading stack, hoping to get through three books today, 2 for uni and 1 for me. #1 #dracula #2
#thehoundofthebaskervilles #3 #acourtoffrostandstarlight and maybe not in that order
Wonderful surprise when I went to the bookshop, I had completely forgotten this was released this month.
Today‘s major reading challenge, I‘m a little behind in my reading for uni 😬 so trying to finish Americanah today, get through half of Dracula and read a few chapters of The Hound of the Baskervilles #phew #readingmarathon
So many funny stories, recommend it if you need some bookish laughs.
Current read for gothic fiction course, interesting so far....but we shall see.
Love this cover. The beginning of this book seemed a little underwhelming, but I‘m hoping it picks up pace soon.
Such a powerful novel. Can‘t recommend this highly enough.
So good, can‘t wait until the next one is released.
Is it madness to read Poe in brilliant sunshine ?
On to the next Shetland book. Hoping that my husband will come home with some much needed chocolate. #longday
This book is so interesting but it‘s taking so long to finish. I started this 6 months ago and only half way through with sporadic reading sessions.
A good book and a glass of champagne 🥂 having a little relax before #datenight #midweekweekend. I‘m a little unsure about continuing with the Shetland series as I didn‘t like the book before Dead Water, but my husband assured me this book is worth it. #shetland
I never to know how to review this book, except to say that I love it. This was possibly my fourth time reading it and I fell in love with it all over again. I think it‘s the honesty of the book, the portrayal of the characters is so mesmerising and heartbreaking. When pressed to choose my favourite book (a question I dread, for there are so many) I usually say this book.
Last week the weather was too hot, this week it‘s becoming too cold. But oh well, it‘s given me the best excuse to curl up for the rest of today with some good books. Up first, The Well.
I love this beginning.
Just starting, I have only read some of Junot Diaz short works and essays which I‘ve really enjoyed, so I‘m excited to get reading this one.
