I don‘t know how I came across this sweet, sweet book (maybe The New York Times?), about the relationship between 90 year old Eddie and 20 something Bella. These characters really came to life for me, along with all the other people who have been part of their lives. Some readers might find it cheesy, but I found it charming.
Wednesday and yes that‘s snow/slush/sleet out my window WTF
Perfect read for Valentine‘s Day ?
4.5 Stars • "Eddie Winston Is Looking for Love" by Marianne Cronin tells the story of Eddie Winston, a 90-year-old man who has never been kissed. Eddie, described as a true gentleman and incurable romantic, volunteers at a charity shop in Birmingham, where he sorts through donations, preserving items of sentimental value. ⬇️
I had very high expectations, since her debut “Lennie & Margot” is one of my favorite books and keeps breaking my heart! Eddie Winston is very sweet and his friendship with Bella is heartwarming. I really loved it, I just wished it would have been ~10 pages longer, since the ending felt very abrupt.

I just intended to dip into this one to sample it but it‘s so charming, I‘m still reading.
