A Disney pop up store has opened in Melbourne (at the Doncaster Westfield) and I went today (the regular stores closed in the early 00s) so I was mostly there for nostalgia…
Are people out there really buying Lotso? And if yes, why?
Anyway, I had a lovely time - but as with the original Disney stores, the prices are horrifying.
CarolynM They used to have good sales, though. I got my kids all sorts of junk😆 I might try to pop in to the pop-up some time. 5mo
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @CarolynM, maybe not? I feel like they disappeared before the Warner Bros Stores. Perhaps they opened too many stores? From what I‘ve seen online it looks like they are closing stores is Europe and America to concentrate on online sales - which is a shame - the instore experience can‘t be beat! (Unless you are at an actual Disney park) 5mo
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @CarolynM, it‘s only a small store, but I had fun browsing. They are promoting a AU/NZ Disney warehouse opening - so really trying to capture those online sales (I don‘t think the US site ships to Australia or not everything does?) 5mo
