I appreciate that the heartbreaking pasts that give NS characters their character often happen prior to the onset of the book because Jasper‘s story was that of nightmares. Except for a certain amount of respect I lost for Caitlan‘s after her over-the-top reaction to learning more about Tanner on their official first date, this was a beautiful story of love and family. I appreciated that Jasper‘s faith didn‘t come with political analogies.
