I just couldn‘t get into this book. I don‘t normally start a book and not finish it, but this one wasn‘t for me. I found it hard to follow and it didn‘t hold my attention very well.

This is book 2 in the Jack Swift series! I really love that each book comes with its very own playlist! Any time Swift sends a note or email to Detective Beckett it comes with lines from a song. I found myself creating my own playlist with these songs. I hope there will be many more books in this series because I enjoy reading about Jack Swift and his adventures! I also look forward to more playlists!

This is the first book in the Atlee Pine series and she is a total badass! My heart breaks for her because she and her twin sister were the victims of a horrible crime when they were little and she constantly searches for answers. I can‘t wait to read the next book in the series to find out what happens next. I really hope this series continues for many books because I would be interested to follow Atlee‘s story.

I have read several other novels by Erica Spindler and I thoroughly enjoyed all of them. This novel was no different. I love reading thriller novels and this one was full of twists and turns that the reader never sees coming. The reader never knows who the killer is until the very end. I really loved it!

I received an advance copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

This was a quick easy read. It‘s not my usual James Patterson read but it was an okay book. The town of Mt. Hope is in the midst of a nuclear emergency and the town is evacuated. When the residents are allowed to return they notice things do not seem right.
