When you take vacation and it is dreary and rainy what is there better to do than curl up with a good book. #25of2024

The last book I read made me cry and both of the ones I am currently reading will probably make me cry as well. I think women always feel like we have to be the strong ones. We have to handle everything thrown at us all while being a wife, mother, employee and boss. But there comes a time when we just need a good cry and I think that is why we are attracted to these types of books because we have something to say why we are crying. #24of2024
And books! Always bring wine and books! I have a feeling I‘m gonna also need some tissues with this one. #23of2024
Two of my favorite things, books and my baby girl. She is 13 which is old for a bulldog so I‘m taking advantage of all her snuggles. Beautiful cover to put you in the summer mood. Fun fact I learned that Christine Lauren is actually 2 writers 🤯
Recently I‘ve been in a bit of a reading slump but I have started donating plasma and when you have to sit for awhile it has made me start reading again. This was a Tik Tok recommendation and an author I have not read before. #21of2024
The weather is warming up and it‘s time to spend more time with my feet in the sand. Seemed like this one was appropriate to kick off summer. #19of2024
Added this one to my list in 2020. Hope it is good after all this time 🤣 #18of2024
Just finished a motivational/self help book now I need some easy reading to relax a bit. #16of2024
Been reading on the Kindle for awhile so I‘m gonna get back on my Nook and read some of the books I never got around to before. #15of2024
A co-worker brought me this one to read. New author for me to try and it does sound interesting. #15of2024
Moved through the last one pretty quick but I‘m slowly working on my goal. #14of2024
This is my new baby Vixen. She likes to lay on the couch and be close. I guess I will see if she likes it when I read and don‘t give her 100% of my attention.
Went to Ollie‘s today to get some things for the new baby we adopted from the humane society and had to pick these up. I‘m blaming her because I did not need any more books 🤣
When you are a true reader and usually read on average 6 books a month then you start a wonderful relationship with a man you had only thought existed in said books you read sure puts a hurting on your reading. Freida will help me bump this number a little quicker. #13of2024
An old co-worker brought this book to me at work yesterday and today is my office‘s 40th anniversary so I will be wearing these heels for 12 hours and when I go home I‘m going to curl up with this book. So I thought it seemed fitting to take this picture at my desk lol. #12of2024
Oh Lookie Lookie!! The outside reading chair is out and the sun is shining. It‘s getting to be that time. #11of2024
Freida McFadden is a genius!! I could read her books back to back and she gets me every time. We‘ve all heard the saying if you like something you buy it in every color. Well when you like someone you buy every book. That‘s why she is my #9of2024
Heard a lot of hype about this 🌶️ little number. #8of2024
I saw this one talked about quite a bit and I scored some free books so i thought I would give it a try. #7of2024
After my last series I need to finish this one with a wholesome story 🤪 #6of2024
I feel like I haven‘t done so well on my reading list so far this year but these books are big so…..I like big books and I cannot lie 🎶 #5of2024
Just finished number 2 in the series and it has me all in my feels 💜 so I can‘t wait to start number 3. #4of2024
One more picture with this cute little guy my friend gave me for Christmas. Starting number 2 in this Tik Tok made me do it series. #3of2024
I didn‘t meet my 2023 goal but I still read some amazing books last year.
Starting off 2024 strong with Freida McFadden. The book was a gift from a coworker and the beautiful scarf is from a dear friend. #1of2024
Trying to knock out a couple more before the end of the year #54of2023
Freida McFadden has not disappointed me yet and is always a go to for a good intense suspense. #53of2023
Life is stressful and sometimes you need something wholesome to help you keep the faith. #51of2023
I picked this up in a thrift shop the other day for $0.50. The cover caught my eye and it sounds like something I won‘t be able to put down. #50of2023
Read 2 intense ones now I‘m going back to Kingsbury‘s wholesomeness. #48of2023
Shari always keeps you engaged and wanting to know the whole truth. My reading challenge had slowed down but I‘ve got my foot on the gas now. #47of2023
Taking a little break from the wholesome Karen Kingsbury and diving into this one. It‘s a beautiful day out and this little guy is so cute I thought he deserved to be in the picture. #46of2023
Next in the Baxter series “Remember”. Karen Kingsbury has a way of writing so that you feel these stories are so easy to relate to. #45of2023
Such a satisfying picture to see so many books from a series together. Time to conquer it. #44of2023
From what I have read I think I might fly through this one but will have tissues ready. Don‘t think I will make my reading goal this year but I‘m not stopping. #41of2023
Rainy weekend, don‘t feel the greatest but you have a snuggly dog and a new book to start. Making the most out of it. #30of2023
Running behind on my reading goal so I know once I start this one I‘m not going to want to put it down. Freida McFadden is amazing!! #38of2023
My try local morning is my work bag, my purse and of course my book. #37of2023
It‘s Labor Day so what would be better than to relax and read while my girl was napping beside me? #36of2023
Hail Mary, Full of Grace is probably not going to be mentioned in this book 🤣. Lots of good talk about this over on Book Tok so I have to give it a try. #35of2023
I have traveled thousands of miles, through many decades and read about all walks of lives. Some read to remember and some read to forget. Whatever your reason, just read and enjoy. #34of2023
