Crosby the Not So Snappy Crocodile
Crosby the Not So Snappy Crocodile: (The Bit Different Collection) | Michelle Gemmel, Joanne Moore
3 posts | 1 read
We are all a bit different and the world would be bleak if everyone was the same, not special or unique. Crosby isn't a typical crocodile. He is kind, gentle and friendly and he won't use his big teeth or claws to cause harm. The other crocodiles laugh at Crosby and are unkind to him for being different. Upset and lonely, Crosby sets out to find acceptance. Will he be able to find somewhere he can be himself? How can he use his big teeth and claws in a positive way? And will Crosby not only be accepted by others, but learn to accept himself? Turn the pages of this brightly illustrated story about difference, acceptance and self-expression to find out! 'Crosby the Not-So-Snappy Crocodile' is the second book in 'The Bit Different Collection.'

“With his amazing talent, and his smile, big and wide, Crosby‘s accepted and proud, and his new friends by his side.”

this book could be used to help students identify what makes them unique. It also teaches the lesson of not giving into peer pressure. Could be a great lesson on students picking out positive attributes about themselves or friends.
