Having a quick reread of this Old Kingdom tale in prep for diving into the next book Goldenhand due out in October (but I have an ARC as my weekend companion). This story takes place 6 months after the end of Abhorsen and overlaps into the beginning of Goldenhand. Love Nix's Old Kingdom! And love these little World Book Day editions 💕
