I‘m not a big play reader. I read this for the #readingwomenchallenge - Read a play prompt

This was an interesting read. It was written in the 80s and it all takes place within the sister‘s kitchen. One sister is accused of shooting her husband, they are trying to discover why their mother committed suicide and how to deal with their relationships.

Audio is always nice for a play, but could make it a bit harder to follow sometimes. More focused on the introspection of the three girls than the plot, which was a bit disappointing. I think I might enjoy it more after watching the movie. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Book 5/30 for #bfcr2

IndoorDame You're making great progress with your netgalley books!👏 5y
Hestapleton @IndoorDame well only 2/5 were Netgalley books, but I‘m still pretty happy with that! Any sized dent is still a dent. 5y
IndoorDame @Hestapleton totally! 😊 5y

Three sisters, each one with inner demons from the past deals with them in their own ways. Tender, dramatic and with a little bit of a humor this #play is a good display of three strong and extremely different characters, but at the same time - very connected with the past. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
