Why do I feel manipulated? This Alex Delaware mystery was a head scratcher. Seemingly unrelated murders. Frustrating amounts of time spent coming to the conclusion that they were murders. Alex Delaware predictably magics the solution. The ending was a bit of a let down and a puzzle and were we deliberately left thinking that there was more to this than what we are told? Or is that just a ploy? Despite that I enjoyed the book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
MaGoose I need to read some of Kellerman's books and of his wife, Faye, too. I think I might have one of her books somewhere in my TBR book jungle...guess I need to break down and get my books sorta organized 😅 🤣 2w
Suelizbeth @MaGoose I really loved both author‘s earlier novels. I don‘t know if they‘ve just been writing about the same characters for so long that they‘ve run out of new things to write about or what, but they‘ve lost their zing. 2w
