I wasn‘t sure wether to “so-so” this or to “pan” it. I was 3/4 the way through when the author became very anti modern medicine…..and that just isn‘t good. If you need anti depressants etc there is nothing wrong with that. If you choose not to that‘s ok too. But anti depressants save lives. It‘s as simple as that. So for that reason I can‘t give this book a “pick”
jen_the_scribe Yeah, I‘d have to agree with you on the anti-depressants. I‘ve personally witnessed such a drastic positive change in someone I love dearly because of anti-depressants. I‘m not exaggerating or being dramatic when I say it saved their life. Anti-depressants might not be for everyone but there‘s no doubt that they help a lot of people. 1w
Cheryl_Russell I don‘t do well without my anti-depressant. 1w
Darklunarose @jen_the_scribe I her you in that. It‘s been the same for a close loved one here. Dramatically life saving and changing. Some people can‘t take them (me for instance as I get so many side effects being chemically sensitive….my drs just adore me 😂) and some people choose not to try them. All is ok. Each is a choice. But they are life saving for so many 1w

Darklunarose @Cheryl_Russell my loved one either. It‘s a battle hard to win without them.mwhen the medication they take was unavailable a few years back for months that was so hard on them. And little else worked. 1w
Clare-Dragonfly I very much like modern medicine. Big fan of not dying of cancer AND not having debilitating anxiety about it. 1w
Darklunarose @Clare-Dragonfly this! Without modern medicine (anxiety aside) myself and hubby wouldn‘t be here to worry what others thought of medicine! 1w
