1 post | 1 read
When Kyoko's heart is broken, she decides that revenge is a dish best served in the spotlight! Kyoko Mogami followed her true love Sho to Tokyo to support him while he made it big as an idol. But he's casting her out now that he's famous! Kyoko won't suffer in silence--she's going to get her sweet revenge by beating Sho in show biz! Welcome to Hollywood! Kyoko is thrilled as the Route project takes off in sunny California. But even the excitement of exploring a real American movie studio isn't enough to distract her from the current calamity--when Ren says "Kyoko," she can tell he means her real name and not her stage name. How can Kyoko act normal when he keeps doing that?!

I finished catching up on SKIP BEAT! while Ivy and I enjoyed the outdoors together, and oooh! I loved this volume! Great interactions between Kyoko & Ren, intriguing new characters and settings, and some long running plot threads heading for fruition.

Also, a cat named S‘more. I love it when animals have food names.

Looks like this‘s a two-volume year, so I‘ll anxiously await Vol 51 in the autumn.
