Expect the same quirky, silly, and fun ride that Ally Carter gave us in the first book. I read this at the right time as I needed something light and this has a bonus a hint of mystery and adventure and large dose of romance.

I was so entertained by the first book in this series, but this didn‘t hit the same way for me. It was a fun enough page turner, but I felt like it jumped around way too much and the main characters weren‘t as endearing. I also wish there had been more of Zoe!

Shouldn‘t we get to stay home when a fave author has a new book? Who‘s with me? 🙋🏻♀️
A closed door but very passionate spy romance, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, spanning a decade of love, danger, suspense and badassery.
King knew something most people didn‘t—that the Kingsleys‘ real legacies were pessimism and preparation. They saw contingencies a thousand yards off. They ate worst-case scenarios for breakfast. No one could predict the future, but if they tried hard enough, spies named Michael Kingsley were quite good at knowing what was coming, or so he‘d always thought.
He‘d been wrong, though. Because never in a million years would he have been ready for her.
