Crafting with Slander | 
This is the 3rd book in Gasper's Cove Mysteries series. These are light, fun, cozy mysteries that feature a craft store owner (Valerie) and are set in rural Nova Scotia. In this one Valerie is the campaign manager for her friend who is running for mayor and when the current mayor is killed, Valerie investigates. These are short books, and I treat them as a kind of an enjoyable palate cleanser between darker or more serious reads. 3.75/5 stars
