I‘ve read this book three times now. It never ceases to teach me something new about relationships and how to love authentically. It challenges me and inspires me.

I've had this for a year, but as with all nonfiction books I own, it takes me a while to start reading it. Found this on my shelf again and thought hm, would probably help with new novel research.

I really liked this book. It didn't necessarily teach me much that was new, but it explained things so well and I so greatly appreciated Miller's honesty and vulnerability as he told his story of going from failed relationship after failed relationship to embracing intimacy.

Finished out my night on a great note. I just love Don Miller. I think this showed some real growth in him not only as a writer but as a person. He's honest and real and open and there are some real practical things I will take with me from this book, all while not making it feel instructional or "teachy" at all. I'll always pick up a new Donald Miller book.
