Today, France adopts a bill changing the definition of rape from “penetration or oral sex using 'violence, coercion, threat or surprise'“ to “any non-consensual sexual act.“
TieDyeDude Seriously, if you are unaware of her story and choose to look it up, her situation is so f-ed up; however, everything I've seen describes her as composed, courageous, and dignified in her response. Her book is scheduled to release in February. 1w

ChaoticMissAdventures I followed this case so closely with a couple of friends. It has been horrific, but it really made us aware of turning in creeps and we found a new hero in Gisele. She was so impressive as she fought to make everything as public as possible. 1w
ChaoticMissAdventures @mcctrish @Deblovestoread yes, most of the mens excuses were that or that her husband gave them permission so they thought it was fine. Just horrific. And her doctors were no help she spent years being told she had early onset memory issues, when really her husband was just drugging her. 1w
