The first of my Diana Wynne Jones eBay spree books arrived - and the cover is just as atmospherically moody as I was hoping!

Pickpick

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(⭐️) I‘ve never read anything like this. In Jones‘s usual way it blends mythology and parallel universes with an intricate and creative plot, but the way that everything is set up is incredible and I found the ending satisfying but dark. I loved the way it intertwined reality and fiction and made you question fundamental aspects of our world. Definitely one of my favorite books now.

Day 15: Weird Books
I think a lot of my books might seem strange to those with different genre affinities, but this is probably the one most would agree is the strangest. Don't care. I love it so much. #somethingforsept #septphotochallenge
