2nd in a series about the intrepid Blossom Culp , a young girl who has “Second Sight” and some ghostly adventures. Great characters and premise set in US and England in early 20th century.

How did I just learn about the Blossom Culp series NOW? If it wasn‘t labeled as a middle grade/YA, I would have thought it general historical paranormal fiction. This just has a far more literary vibe than the YA of today. (I adore contemporary YA, but this feels so different). Blossom has SUCH a strong narrative voice. The teens act like real teens. Also love the history brought in. This series is a treasure. About to devour the next book.

With Blossom as the narrator, (unlike the first book which was from Alexander‘s POV), we get to see what a jerk of a teenage boy Alexander really is 😂
