And so ends the Blossom Culp series, that I very much enjoyed devouring over the past month. This wasn‘t my favorite book of the series, as I don‘t feel like enough was resolved to make for a decent “final” book, especially in the way of Alexander‘s development. However, amazing writing, as usual, and Egyptology plus the Suffragette movement made for an awesome book.

This is a great tween adventure book. Set at the turn of the 20th century, it stars an intelligent and spunky heroine, a long dead Egyptian princess, and a quiet teenage boy who is in way over his head. Recommended to fans of Lloyd Alexander. #bravegirls #egyptianmythology #psychicfiction

sloanghost This sounds so much like an older version of my first chapter book from when I was 6-- Phantom Valley: In The Mummy's Tomb 7y
