I've read a lot of WWII fiction throughout the years, but this is definitely one of my new favorites. Kristin Hannah is a genius at drawing you in and plucking at every heart string you weren't aware you possessed. This novel provides painful insight into the oft-overlooked role of women during the war and tells a beautiful story about the power of family.
