This book! Comes out on 4/19
The Greystone kids have just learned there is a family nearly identical to them - sharing names and birthdays. Now mom is missing and they a tracking the clues...

Mystery. Alternate universe. Family.

Only downside... I have to wait for book two.

Wonderful! I learned a lot reading this book. 12-yr-old Riley has anorexia and is in an in-patient treatment center. Her image issues stem from a classmate‘s comment, but also from her mom‘s dieting habits.

Told in journal entries, readers see what treatment looks like: group sessions, art therapy, one-on-one counseling, weigh-ins, nutrition planning. And new friendships.

The author is an eating disorder survivor.

Lovely! Sad but lovely. I enjoyed the author‘s use of — rememberings? I found myself genuinely liking Suzy. I saw a bit of myself in her — middle school was hard and I never seemed to know what the right thing to do/say was.

Now to wait for the movie.

I started this one yesterday and it‘s almost over...I don‘t want it to be.

Wonderful story about finding who you are — disguised in a quest to help someone else. Iris is Deaf and learns about Blue 55 in science class. She becomes dedicated to helping him know someone hears him. Her grandma helps her complete her mission.

Lots of connections for me. This one is #huggable 😊
