pickAnouk is a very constant character, but the fact that she‘s 17 with three love interests in this book (and one that proposes TWICE) bothers me a little. I think the ‘bury your gays‘ trope is tired, and also fake in this sense so - why? Petra was the first trans representation I‘d ever seen in a ‘mainstream‘ book, and I love her to bits.
