What book made you a reader? That was the theme of my #IRLBook Club yesterday.

On first day of 5th grade, I entered English class and was mesmerized by the wall of books at the back of classroom. There to I encountered my first book nerd problem. Book 1 - was missing. (Read it years later.)

I thought Nancy was the coolest thing, driving around in her blue convertible. I read the entire series. Bit dated but fun to revisit. Book 2 of #6Ofor60 🤓

I've picked 60 of my favorite books to reread in 2026 as part of my birthday celebrations.

Starting with first book I remember. Someone gave it to me, I'm assuming right before I started Kindergarten. Best part was it had a character with my name - Annette. (Didn't become Annie until later.)

I took with me when I left home. Obviously that one didn't survive the house fire but I found a replacement on Ebay for $5. 🤓
