pickRebus's daughter, Samantha, calls her father because her partner, Keith, has been missing. Rebus knows his daughter will be the prime suspect. Will he be able to prove she is innocent? Side story about the murder of a Saudi student which Siobhan Clarke and Malcolm Fox are involved with. The cases do eventually intertwine with Big Ger Cafferty showing up too.
