Small town suspicion, jealousy, romance, revenge and a series of murders based on Poe stories...this was a one day read. The witchcraft element was completely pointless but I was all in anyway

I followed along with the #audiobook for this and thought it was great. I know this book has gotten some bad reviews but I think it's a fun little memoir about finding yourself and I could listen to Shonda Rimes' stream of consciousness narrating for hours.

Finally, I read the 6 books over the Christmas holiday & all but Geronimo was with my 6 year old niece on Zoom. She is embracing this shift to online visitation and doing this with her one on one allowed her to to get a little extra practice for school. Merry Fairy Christmas was garbage. A weak story and clip art pieces together from various sources. The others were all cute.

I had books 3 & 4 on my list of books to finish in 2020 because I thought the series stopped there, so imagine my surprise when a 5th book showed up in Hoopla! More adventures of DI Archie LeBlanc, a badger, in this anthropomorphic alt-history with a few steampunk tendencies. Humans are looked down on, even called doughfaces. 🤣 I love his assistant Roderick Ratzi. I'm amused when the face & hands are their designated animal, but their bodies⬇️
