pickI'm a #climatefiction fan & also appteciate a good impending apocalypse scenario so I quite enjoyed this. Eric Barnes has written a very engaging prequel to his The City Where We Once Lived (which I need to read) & shows a world that is ever closer to a collapse due to environmental changes. The characters were believable and sometimes unsettled me as much as the landscape. #edelweiss #arcs #speculativefiction #ArcadePublishing
