Did another puzzle while I listened to this great Japanese mystery. Hoopla‘s got two more books by Yukito Ayatsuji and I‘ve already added both to my list for the next time I have a gap in my listening schedule. #audiopuzzling

Did a puzzle while I listened to another great Bangalore Detectives Club mystery. My favourite thing about these books is how Nagendra illuminates 1920s India; especially the class divisions Kaveri navigates, the growing push for independence from Britain, and the ways women support each other given the social limits placed on them. #audiopuzzling
This was a great P&P retelling! I am shocked it‘s not more popular. The audio was great, too.

Not my favourite Marie Benedict. There were some liberties that were a little too far for my taste. I also had a hard time following the story sometimes, I don‘t know if I was distracted or what but I won‘t remember this for long.

Oh, good. Another middle aged white dude that thinks more highly of himself than everyone else combined.

My other holiday Monday project involves this big, complicated puzzle and the tagged book, which I was beyond glad to find on Hoopla. Michelle West is my favourite epic fantasy author and I‘m excited she‘s brought us back to Breodanir with this one. Her Sacred Hunt duology is my favourite and it‘s great to revisit that setting after many, many long books set elsewhere. #audiopuzzling
Listened to this #audiobook while playing PowerWash Simulator (#audiogaming ?) which feels like some of my other favorite activities - #audiopuzzling & #audiostitching.
Ta-Nehisi Coates reads wonderfully, and his writing works well in audio format. From Senegal to South Carolina to Palestine, he writes powerfully about race, myths, and the stories we tell ourselves. I appreciate how willing he was to be self-critical and show how he's changed.
I want to climb into this puzzle and live there! 🎧🧩🪩📚

Did a puzzle so I could finish MEMORIES OF ICE a bit quicker. As with the first two, I enjoyed it overall but I think time has softened the edges that made the series groundbreaking back in the day. I do wish everyone would curb their impulse towards bombastic internal monologues, too. There‘s a LOT of that.
I probably won‘t have much listening time in France, so I‘ll get the next one in late April or so. #MFMarch #audiopuzzling
