panI wanted to love this book...But I didn‘t. So many times I thought of putting it down, but I just couldn‘t do that to Jane. This book is part of The Austen Project and is the 3rd book in the series. They are taking contemporary authors and having them retell Austen‘s classic stories. I feel McCall Smith‘s book totally missed the mark. It makes me question if he even read the original book or even liked Emma. Disappointing! #Book11of2018
