Wow!!! Double wow!!! From the first sentence to the last chapter I was hooked. This book made me feel all the feelings. I listened to this one and found myself lowering the volume at some points, turning it up at others, wanting to throw my phone across the room, and gasping in the car while driving. It‘s SO good!!! #Book7of2020

Super cheesy, funny, light hearted read! Loved that it was told from a male POV. Loved the book within a book. Loved that guys read a romance novel to help figure out aspects of their own relationships. Totally predictable, but I loved that about it as well. #Book6of2020

This book left me wanting more. Yes, Arthur is a charming character. You want to reach right into the book and give him a hug. However, I closed this book needing to know more about his wife. I felt like there was not enough story with each charm. And why did she never share anything with her family? Was she ashamed? Did she want to lead a different life? I need more...

Book #5 in the After series. Although it wasn‘t my favorite in the series, I love how most of the book was in Hardin‘s POV. However, the best part was the last section of the book. Each chapter in Part 3 was told by a different character. Loved hearing all the different POV and getting a little closure or insight from each. #Book3of2020

Had to fight, grind, repeat just to finish. I have never heard of BB before. I felt he was all over the place in his storytelling; & WAY over exaggerating to the point it was exhausting. Just when I thought he was being sincere, he says, “I just made that up”. I felt he name dropped the entire time but yet didn‘t really share many of his celebrity friends‘ stories. Could have gotten all I needed from this book by reading the cover. #Book23of2019

I love a good YA story and a good ❤️ story. Throw in some travel, and I‘m sold. I picked this book to relive my time in Europe. Listening to them travel to all the same places made me happy and sad all at once. Take me back to Europe!!! I‘d gladly travel with Sydney and her friend Kat, and of course Jackson! However, Leela needs to stay home. She was selfish and annoying and I couldn‘t stand her. Quick, easy, fun read! #Book20of2019

I enjoyed the book, but wasn‘t completely blown away. It‘s funny and interesting to see how the rich and fabulous live, but also disheartening to know how much emphasis people place on material things. However, what I wouldn‘t give to be a guest at the wedding of the year!!! #Book19of2019

Audio book for the win!!! The full cast was amazing and completely held my attention. Great story about sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Throw in some heartfelt moments about friendship, love, forgiveness and believing in yourself/others, and you have one of my top reads so far this year. #Book18of2019

As a mom of someone on the spectrum, I pray each day my kiddo finds meaningful friendships and an unconditional love. I absolutely loved their journey. #Book16of2019

“Each reader will take something different from a novel, from a chapter, from a line.” This quote is the reason why I love meeting with my book club each month. Hearing how each person interpreted the book is always fascinating. Although this wasn‘t one of my favorites, I appreciated the writing style. The story unfolded with alternating chapters: the present, and the past told through letters. The cover of this book is amazing! #Book15of2019

Super cute book about a boy moving to a new country and coming in mid year at HS. Best book dedication I‘ve seen in a while. Favorite quote from the book, “We all mess things up. It‘s what you do with the mess that matters.” I‘ll be sharing that quote with my high school and middle schooler. It‘s a good reminder for myself as well. #Book12of2019

Super cute love story with some emotional tragedies along the way. I enjoyed the way the story unfolded with chapters titled “Then” and “Now” switching between the past and the present. Elliot and Macy‘s friendship was so beautiful. Their love of books, sharing favorite words, and updates in her closet library quickly made me want to jump right in their with them. I couldn‘t put this one down!

Another book that I loved and hated all at the same time. The writing was wonderful and flowed more like a novel than a memoir. The content was disturbing and haunting. I waited till after I was done reading the book before I read any additional information about the author. Lots of conflicting stories and testimonies; which has led to many more questions on my part. I need my book club to meet again to discuss all my new questions. #Book9of2019

I totally believe in love at first sight. It‘s how I met my husband over 20 years ago. Although it didn‘t take us 10 years to finally get together (only a year later) I could totally feel the pain and longing the main characters felt. What a cute and enjoyable read. I‘m a sucker for a good love story and loved following theirs for a decade. #Book6of2019

I have read & enjoyed all of JG‘s books. This book was equally as enjoyable. The plot at times was a little out there for me, but his character descriptions are always the selling point. Having a glimpse into the mind of someone with OCD & anxiety was done brilliantly through the main character, Aza. I enjoyed her friendship with Daisy, & the quirky, but insightful Davis. JG packs his books with memorable quotes and metaphors! #Book29of2018

It was a struggle for me to finish the book. If it hadn‘t been a book club pick, it is not a book I would have read or finished. I just didn‘t “get it.” A talking crow and other magical elements had me guessing what direction this book was going in. The author did however create a great sense of community and showed how supportive the members in town were for each other. I won‘t be recommending this book to others.

I‘m a sucker for chick lit and Jane Austen so this book was a quick, easy read for me. I am very much like Jane, a hopeless romantic looking for a happy ending. Jane and Austen‘s journey was interesting to read. I love how the author took many beloved characters from all of JA‘s classic novels and put a twist on them. It was fun to spot the references while reading.

I have loved reading all about the Song sisters in this trilogy. This last book left me feeling happy and sad all at the same time. Sad because I know it‘s over, when I feel like there is still so much story left to tell. Hoping the author reconsiders and gives us Lara Jean: The College Years.

A great debut thriller. I truly enjoyed reading this book. Great characters that were well developed. My heart aches for our protagonist Ella/Lainey with what she went through as a child and continues to struggle with today. I was hoping for a little more backstory and the “why” from the antagonist. But a great read that I will recommend to others.

Super cute book & an easy read. Loved the story inside the story & the illustrations. It was a very relatable story in some aspects. I have an introverted teen who we discovered loves to draw. We‘ve never seen her draw or doodle anything. She then tells us her art work is in a contest at the library and if we could swing by and see.She won!
