🙂 I reached my goal of 25% of Catton's
📖 Gideon the Ninth's hold came through earlier than expected from the library
✊🏻 Pretty things was put in hold
Catton's is keeping me interested. Gideon is barely holding my interest after 30%. I'm gonna give it until 50% to make me care. So far, it's wall to wall exposition with very little showing. ☹️

Cinfhen By the 50% point I think it‘s reasonable to feel like a book is or isn‘t working for you!! I usually bail by the 20% mark 😝 4y

BookishMe @Cinfhen I won't call it brave. I also felt regret at the remaining few chapters but I know I was dragging myself sufferably. The opportunity cost was other gripping current reads, and that made it much easier to bail. No regrets I hadn't sooner 😊😊 4y
