I *so* needed this read! The art is adorable & the running gag of endless silly rhyming even more so.

Here‘s the short, sweet succinctallo: Buffalo Fluffalo thinks he‘s toughallo because of his impressive fluffalo until a torrent of rain comesallo.

Oopsy doodallo, now you‘re small & bedraggledallo!

Only size isn‘t everything, sillyallo!

We all love you just the way you are…allo! 💕

Soscha I did hear in passing Mark Ruffalo is a big fan! 7d

Steven Rinella is a great story teller for his topic. In the process of telling his tale of going on a hunt for a buffalo in Alaska. He also tells the history and prehistory of the American Bison. It‘s best to hear narrated by the author. Endlessly interesting and engrossing.

The Lamar and Hayden Valley areas are known a the American Serengeti. The open plains, the wildlife, the understanding of America as an amazing landscape. If you have seen this, it can be hard to believe that we almost lost it in the late nineteenth century. George Bird Grinnell is one of the men we can thank for saving this precious resource. He recognized that without proper conservation, the American West would be plundered into devastation.

Great book! I sped through this in no time, just because it was so well-written and engrossing. The author owns a small ranch in SD and raised cattle. He doesn‘t like the environmental damage they do, so he switches to buffalo. It‘s a story of ranching difficulties, environmental practices, history, and how to be a land steward. Amazing writing, laugh-out-loud spots, and just a super read. Definitely recommended!
