Starting a new review series called “Revealing Romances” where I read romance novels with covers that we avoid, believing they‘re “trash” because of their name or cover. My idea is to review these books so you don‘t have to judge them by their covers but can see if their embarrassing titles or covers are worth getting past. julesG That's a cool idea! I don't shrink from "in your face" covers or titles. Strangely, I'm often put off by the covers that look like my grandmother's cheap romance novellas; okay, alien hunks and too much muscle puts me off too. ? 5y
BookNAround It took me a long time to get past the over the top covers. Now I care not one iota. I guess that the benefit of age. 😂 5y
scowler1 This is what Kindles were made for! My wife ONLY reads novels with trashy covers. She always felt judged at the bookstore. Didn't stop her though, our shelves are still full of them 😀 5y
