You see that total?! That is how much money I would have spent if I would have bought these ebooks/audiobooks (All the books I‘ve read so far in 2018)!!! Prices are from Amazon for either the ebook or audiobook. I got them ALL FREE thanks to my #library and my #Libby app!!! Amazing how much they have saved me!!! Thanks @Kaye for the reminder for me to do this! LIBRARIES ROCK!!!

JoScho I love this! I only get books from my library and I think seeing how much I save would be a nice confirmation 😊 7y
SassyBookworm @JoScho my goal is to keep up with how much I save for an entire year! This is only 7 books! I can‘t imagine what it will be like after a year! 😳 7y
ashsbookmarks Yay!!! My household loves Libby too! 7y

Sue I‘m very grateful for my Library and associated apps. I reckon they save me at least a grand a year, probably more. 7y
CherryPie Ooh! Why didn't I think of tracking savings! Excellent. Thank you. 7y
Kaye Great job, Chrysta ! You‘d save a truckload in a year. 💴 🚙 (edited) 7y
Jerdencon Love my library! 7y
Gezemice I use my library a lot, too. I definitely save a lot. Not just money, but space. I ran out of space on my shelves a long time ago... but the library is not truly free, we pay taxes for it, so why not use it? I know if you are out of town, a library card is several hundreds of dollars a year. So use it! 7y
bookandbedandtea I only got intentional about using my library about 6 months ago and wish I'd done so sooner. In addition to saving money and space I find that when I check out a book I actually read it whereas purchased books may languish in TBR land for years! 7y
Suetara My library started putting the amount you saved by checking materials out at the library on the self-checkout screens and due date slips. It‘s great. (edited) 7y
