Interesting perspective from the patient side of things
I had a hard time putting this one down. Charly, a dermatologist, meets the man of her dreams, then shortly after that, she is shot in the head by someone in her home. While she recovers in the hospital for months, she slowly pieces together what really happened. Kept me guessing! 4⭐️

Tonight's reading from ch 4. I managed to read ch 3 on my break :) #metime #backtoreadingagain #currentread #chapteratatime
Freida McFadden is a safe go-to for a psychological thriller type book that will almost never end how you think. Her books are so so easy to read. Too easy. Once I start, I have to keep going. I think this one is one of my favorites so far because I did find it interesting how the MC was healing after her injury. Plus, there were some pretty funny moments between brain injury patients in the rehab hospital. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
It‘s been 3 years since I‘ve posted on here! Hope all of you are well! Happy weekend and happy reading!!
This story is less “psychological thriller-y” than I expected based on other Freida books I‘ve read. Less twisty. Charlotte is shot by someone and suffers brain damage with loss of function on her left side. As she goes thru rehab to recover function, she works to solve the mystery of who shot her. I enjoyed reading about her rehab and relationships there, and I loved the medical aspects of the story. Charlotte‘s story was heartbreaking at times.
