Let‘s see if this book can get me out of my reading slump
#afateinkedinblood
⭐️⭐️⭐️ In a weird-for-me twist, the romance was actually my least favorite part of this. I thought Jensen did a great job creating the setting, bringing in & fleshing out the Norse gods & culture, and giving readers an easy way to understand all the people & connections.
The romance felt very fast, which doesn‘t usually bother me, and forced, so I didn‘t connect with it as much.
I‘m glad I finally read this & I‘ll definitely read book two!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Updating my #readingbracket2025 with this gem! I loved this book so much! Give me more Fierrochase/Beatrice please!
Throwing this out a bit late, but here's my stats from last month. I'm pretty satisfied with this, and I hope this month will be even better.
Took a while….its hard to get back into the swing of reading consistently!….but we got there!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It‘s been a while since I‘ve read a Viking-themed fantasy, and “A Fate Inked in Blood” was one that I found interesting. Bjorn is a heck of a character (in a good way), but Freya was a tad annoying at times. Now onto the sequel!
Well I can‘t craft, so I shall read. Of all positions to fall asleep in! God she is adorable!
I've read a few strange romances, but this is the first time the love interest has been introduced by cutting off the main character's head. I love Alex already, and I know she'll be a major character from previous spoilers. Overall loving this book!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loved loved LOVED this one! I love the world building, the characters, the story, the suspenseful crossovers (I really liked the suspenseful crossovers), and the entire thing! That's all there is to it.
