#ReadingBracket2025 Nonfiction update - first half of the year!
June's pick was Dear America, which was so moving and timely. Moving forward to the next round is Born a Crime, which was just the perfect mix of informative, funny, and passionate.
#ReadingBracket2025 Romance update - first half of the year!
I had some great reads this last quarter, including the really fun and unique time loop romance Time and Time Again. But A Shore Thing is moving onto the next round. I can't get over its charm.
#ReadingBracket2025 Fiction update - first half of the year!
June's pick was The City We Became, which I really loved, but ultimately The Measure just hit me the right way and it has stuck with me. So it is moving on to the next round
Tagged book wins the #readingbracket2025 for June, but Audition is my first Wild Card! @Catsandbooks
Stanmore couldn‘t have stood less of chance.
However, much as I loved Idle Grounds, Moominland knocked it out of the running on the left side of the board. AND, much as I loved Moominland, I expect my Wild Card to sideswipe it in the end.
The drama!!!

Much thought was required here. It was a tough choice between The Book of Charlie and Demon Copperhead. And then another tough choice between The Sun Down Motel and The Book of Charlie, especially since there are such different books. But seeing as I wanted to call everyone I knew and shout from the rooftops to read The Sun Down Motel, it clearly deserves the 1/2 year top spot.

June's favourite was Heavenly Tyrant and the wild card was Guardian Volume 1
SVSSS 1 is still winning which I'm not surprised about
