pickI‘m hoping to do some #OctoberBookRecs this month, and Penpal is up first! This is a slow, creepy tale of childhood terrors only fully seen now that the narrator is grown. I absolutely loved it, and it was genuinely unsettling. 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
