Saturday was a LONG day. I was working #Penguicon near Detroit, but drove home to Toledo to go to the NW Ohio Teen Book Festival where I met Kosoko Jackson, Derf Backderf, Mindy McGinnis, and Kit Frick. Then I drove BACK to Detroit to finish out the show... where I accidentally met Claire Winn.
I'm not sure I've ever been this tired in my life. 😅
With show season starting up again we decided to make a showpiece book... this baby weighs 9 pounds and includes everything Shakespeare ever published. That's a standard dinner fork for size comparison. I'm not sure yet if it'll be a standard item we continue to make, or if it'll be a one of. It used SO MUCH LEATHER. 😅 I'm really happy with how the cover turned out.

Inventory day for #Studio42Books which means time for audiobooks. We just found out this morning that we'll be vending at #Penguicon next month, which means we need to spend some time restocking a bunch of our smaller items. I'll probably be making nothing but buttons and magnets for the next few weeks. Weeeee 🤪
#Penguicon day three. I was chatting with a lady in an awesome cat sweater and she turned out to be the author of this cozy mystery series. It was described to me as a cozy magical mystery, focusing on cat lore, with an older female protagonist. Yes, please!
She was nice enough to sign a copy for me. 😻
