Le banquet annuel de la Confrérie des fossoyeurs (The Annual Banquet of the Gravediggers' Brotherhood) takes place in a small village of the the Marais poitevin, in Western France. It's fun, rambling, and full of Easter eggs. I loved the Rabelaisian description of the actual gravediggers' banquet that takes place every year, during which time nobody dies, so that gravediggers from all over the world can have fun.
