The Hurricane Wars: A Novel | Thea Guanzon

Although this book doesn‘t do as good a job pretending it wasn‘t originally a fanfiction as other adaptations I‘ve read, it‘s still a fantastic story. Rich world building, strong characterizations, and an interesting magic system as a backbone. The writing is engaging and the story moves fast for a long book — I rolled right into the second book without waiting to see what was going to happen. Loved it.

Butterfinger I adore the characters, enjoy the action and the world building, could do without the spice. There are a lot of characters that I could not get straight. I was at the end of Onyx Storm and I thought to myself, "who is this person?" Completely missed his intro. 2h

Aconight @Butterfinger is the spice cringey? Maybe I‘ll keep a little journal for characters. Often times with series like this i lose track of people. Ty! 2h

The Paradise Problem | Christina Lauren

This one was really hard to put down. It is a simple romance but them chapters finished in a way that I couldn‘t help just reading the next, then the next. I loved how there were so many chapters from Liam‘s POV. I also read this over a wedding weekend which definitely added to my perspective of the story. The 🌶️ scenes were pretty realistic, and although simple, the story does know where to hit your emotions. Highly recommend to romance readers!
