Surprisingly, I liked this book way more than I thought I would. I thought the ending was quite predictable, but it was a quick cute read.

Fizzy is one of my favorite characters recently because she‘s so relatable. We are close in age so all of the references really hit home. She‘s funny and quirky and I hope I get a HEA like her!
Love it!
The masters have done it again! Loved this. Really steamy and genuine and clever and heartwarming. Characters you want to root for and be friends with IRL. It‘s so cool how they weren‘t going to write another story from the world of The Soulmate Equation, but then fans convinced them to! Christina Lauren, can‘t wait for your next one ❤️
The best thing about this book was Fizzy. She is strong, intelligent, a bit over the top with a love for life most people never have. I loved how she took Conner by storm. Totally blindsided him. And they worked so well together. Enjoyed reading their story. 4.5⭐️ Book two of the DNAduo series but can be read as a stand alone.

Another lovely romance from Christina Lauren, this one centered around a documentary filmmaker helping a romance novelist find love via…reality TV. If you liked the show Unreal, this is for you.
🩷😭 I‘m in love!!! This was so beautiful. There were times I was bothered by Fizzy‘s objectification, and I wish it wasn‘t used as a “funny personality quirk.” But I LOVED Connor, and I loved their chemistry, and I loved this story! Christina Lauren books >
I listened to this book while #audiopainting and enjoyed the heck out of it! It was absolutely fun: from Fizzy's zest for life, the concept behind the reality show, the "heroes," to the cameos by Jess and River it was a great ride! And Connor is going on my #litcrush list! ?

I absolutely adore Fizzy and loved that she got her own story!! This book was incredible! Filled with tender, heartfelt moments, hot, steamy scenes and plenty of comedy. It‘s a must read for CLo fans!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cheesy and predictable, but sometimes that‘s exactly what‘s needed. The dating show trope is not my fave, but I appreciated that it starred a struggling romance author. Fizzy, Connor, and even Connor‘s ex-wife, a huge fan of Fizzy‘s books, were all fun and likable.
i liked that this book talks about the romance structure and how plot is important; glad they delivered! the characters are so lovable, and i absolutely adore how open and honest the main relationship is. honestly fizzy‘s relationships with every character are admirable because her character is a great person! i loved the happily ever after, specifically with the contestants of the show and how there were no grudges anywhere. god tier romance!
Love love loved this book! It was fun, romantic and a little dirty. A perfect getaway book to enjoy when you‘re stressed, or just need a little vacay from sone of the more serious reading.
Loved the premise of the book and playing off the love story reality shows with a twist. Absolutely loved the characters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fun, quick read. I would 100% watch this dating show- love the concept. Much better concept than what we‘re actually given for dating shows. 3.5⭐️ #botm
Loved it! Perfect summer RomCom ❤️💜
This was a fun read! The whole idea of a dating show set up like this...I mean, absolutely 100% I would watch it. They even mentioned my own favorite reality TV show 'Married at First Sight' in the book! Obviously a sure sign this author knows what she's talking about. The main characters are very likeable with their witty bantering. The ending was fantastic. I got teary eyed. It was a good one.
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Major props to a romance written without the crutch of the ubiquitous miscommunication trope. Also, it was fun to read the female lead as the more sexually aggressive character in a budding relationship. My only minor complaint is the amount of time the two spent in their head lusting after each other.
Not saying I try to match my nails to my books, but somehow it does keep happening…💅🏼🤷🏻♀️
This was cute, but did get a little eye-roll-ie saccharine towards the end. I know, I know…it‘s a freaking romance! Still, it was a little much for me. Like, not love, on this one.
“Why should I feel guilty for reading something that makes me happy “
Great question, don‘t ya think?
This is a follow up to Christina Lauren‘s “The Soulmate Equation”, but can be read as a standalone. The book features Fizzy from the previous book, a romance writer with some serious writers block, and Connor, a documentary producer who is told he must now produce a reality dating show. This is a top notch rom-com with some of my favorite tropes - friends to lovers, single dad and a writer character.⬇️
I listened to this one over audio (loved that the male narrator had an accent). I‘m not a huge romance reader but I enjoy these authors books. I loved that Fizzy got to have her own story (need to read The Soulmate Equation before this one). It was a quick, fun read/listen. I love Fizzy‘s quick wit & the banter between the characters. #bookspin book
4.5🌟
Really funny, truly enjoyable, cheesy, but touching - good escapism 😄
Oh my goodness, did I love this book. From the outrageous characters to the fun plot line, it was really enjoyable!
#Christinalauren is an auto buy for me for a reason! This was such a fun read! I love revisiting with old friends from prior books while falling in love with the new! Add this to your reading plans. You know you want to...Do it! #LittensLoveRomance #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
Just finished True Love Experiment.. take note to not read until after The Soulmate Equation due to some crossover. End notes mention Unhoneymooners follow-up coming in August.
Gave me adult rom-com × Selection (Kiera Cass vibes)
I‘m not a big romance reader at all but I‘ve found I really enjoy this writing duo! Now, I‘ve only read two of their books (this and In A Holidaze) but both of them had such unique premises and are full of so much snarky humor and endearing characters that I can‘t help but love them. The ending of this did feel a little too perfect, but I kind of expected it given the genre. A fun read! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
I couldn‘t believe there was no wait for this audiobook on Libby. (There is now)
I‘m happy Fizzy got her own story. It was great seeing Jess & River again, too.

I loved this book soooooo much! It was funny, it was touching, and it was hot. Fuzzy has so much joy and I loved that she was unapologetically herself. And Connor is so soon. Also, loved getting the update on River and Jess.
So good! This writing duo just gets better and better! Fizzy and Connor were a joy to get to know, their spark and humor were impossible to resist. The twist on the Bachelorette set up was perfect and so much fun! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, positive, slightly steamy read. #BookspinBingo #BOTM #romantsy @TheAromaofBooks
Today, I‘m sharing an audiobook I preordered from Audible. I‘m looking forward to reading this.

3.5/5 ⭐
This book follows Fizzy, a book writer dealing with 'writers block's that ends up being the star of a reality tv show. She'll be dating 8 men and the public gets to decided which of the men is eliminated. Directed by a hot producer she can't seem to forget.
It's kind of a sequel to The Soulmate Equation. Not my favorite but it was fun.

I thought Yours Truly was for sure going to be my favorite book read in February, but then I finished The True Love Experiment last night and had a new winner.
But Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries just beats out The True Love Experiment. I love the characters in both books, but the plot slightly more in Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries.
I couldn‘t preorder fast enough! I love Fizzy from “The Soulmate Equation “! 😄
