pickHad to pick this up when I read North Carolina wants to ban it for being unfavorable to cops. The story is told from 2 different viewpoints-the victim and the witness. Rashad is brutally beaten by a cop known by Quinn‘s family. Quinn witnesses the crime. The authors take us through the lives of the 2 teens as they deal with the aftermath. It‘s moving.
