I liked the way the princess had plant magic, and the overall story was pretty good. But it was hard to like the Princess who started out Naive and silly, and ended up spoilt and rude. And one of her servants who loved her at the start ended up as a villain. I think she was done dirty. They agreed to get married without even exchanging names 🙄

So overall this #SleepingBeautyRetelling is only a so-so for me

I liked the retelling of The Twelve Dancing Princesses that Demelza Carlton did (Revel) but I was fairly unfamiliar with the original. I have quite a few of her fairytale series on my kindle, so I‘m looking forward to seeing if this #SleepingBeautyRetelling for #FairytaleReadingChallenge is as enjoyable!
