The imagery was beautiful but the subject matter is very dark. A lot of the poems seem to revolve around the theme of death, dying and the fickleness of life, so it's quite a heavy read despite how short it is. I think my favourite was Sympathy, which is one of the less dark poems, because it was short but utterly beautiful to read!

julesG @RaimeyGallant Thank you. I couldn't but that was due to the events unfolding around me. My son wanted to celebrate his birthday (which was some weeks ago) with some friends and they all stood him up. I was so angry that they had made him cry. He's a sensitive gerky nerdy 12 year old and I needed to cheer him up. So, not being able to finish this book was okay, my son is more important. 7y
