Lady Spider's steam punk rogues gallery from 1895.
The inspiration for the hit animated movies but with a very different story. Vampiric, cosmic aristocrats are hunting all the spider-people across the multiverse. Some of the tie-ins are just okay, but the main story is killer.
This story is mainly connective tissue to the next one.
After losing her powers, Gwen must decide if she really wants to be Spider Woman. Rico Renzi's colors continue to dazzle.
It‘s a bit more dull and drab then Spider-Woman‘s previous (or future) adventures, but Agent of S.W.O.R.D. is certainly a worthy enough read to pass the time.
I did it! I read all 50 issues of the original Spider-Woman comic series, one issue per day. Though the series varies wildly in many ways,l (quality of writing, lingering plot threads, creative choices, etc) it was an overall exciting series. Now I‘m on to more current SW adventures! 20 days ago, I began reading the original Spider-Woman series from the 1970s. Reading one issue per day, this has been a project during our stay-at-home orders. I'll post my progress here on Litsy, and you can read more about my thoughts at my blog right here! https://www.jackphoenix.com/2020/04/29/spider-woman-my-stay-at-home-adventure/
In today's issue, the Spider-Woman finally meets Spider-Man! #comics #marvel #dogsoflitsy #spiderwomanproject
Finished this today! It was mostly comprised of short comics that did not connect and were not particularly interesting. There wasn't any character development or plot advancement. Overall, it wasn't intriguing but certainly not horrible. I hope the next volume is better.
