The 6:41 to Paris | Jean-Philippe Blondel

A huge #petpeeve of mine is marketing copy that tries too hard to make connections to trends even when it makes no sense. Not everything will appeal to fans of Gone Girl and that's okay.

This book is about two old exes sitting next to each other on the train, feeling anxious as they remember their relationship and consider whether to break the ice. It's good, but in no way a "psychological thriller" as the copy claims. #MarchIntoReading

shelf-improvement Related: for a while, all new YA books were billed as "John Green meets Rainbow Rowell." #Staahhp 7y
ReadingEnvy Yes, not a thriller at all. But I really enjoyed it. 7y
